Summary: The predominant colour of the prickles for '80100WB-CP'are greenish while those for 'KEIJI017W' are reddish. The upper side of the leaf of '80100WB-CP' has a medium degree of glossiness whereas that of 'KEIJI017W' has weak glossiness. The terminal leaflet of '80100WB-CP' has an acute apex and a rounded base whereas that of 'KEIJI017W' has an acuminate apex and an obtuse base. The flowers of '80100WB-CP' are in the white blend colour group whereas those of 'KEIJI017W' are in the white or near white colour group. The flowers of '80100WB-CP' have a large diameter whereas those of 'KEIJI017W' have a medium sized diameter. The profile of the lower part of the flower of '80100WB-CP' is flat whereas that of 'KEIJI017W' is flattened convex. The petals of '80100WB-CP' have weak incisions whereas those of 'KEIJI017W' have absent or very weak incisions. The white colour on the inner side of the petals of '80100WB-CP' differs slightly from that of 'KEIJI017W'. The basal spot on the inner side of the petal for '80100WB-CP' is present whereas it is absent for 'KEIJI017W'. The outer stamens for '80100WB-CP' are predominantly medium yellow whereas those for 'KEIJI017W' are predominantly green.

PETAL (OUTER SIDE): white (RHS 155C)
OUTER STAMEN: predominantly medium yellow filament

Origin & Breeding History: '80100WB-CP' originated from a hand-pollination conducted in May 2014 in Moriyama-shi, Shiga, Japan. The cross was made between the female variety 'An' and pollen from an unknown proprietary variety. The new variety was selected from the flowering progeny of the initial cross in September 2017. Selection was based on flower appearance.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of '80100WB-CP' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 10-2018-000663, purchased from the Korean Seed and Variety Service Office in Gimcheon-si, Republic of Korea. The trial was conducted at the Plant Variety Protection Division in Gimcheon-si, Republic of Korea from May 2020 to June 2021. The colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
