PLANT: semi-upright growth habit, medium number of current season's canes, bears fruit on previous season's cane in summer and on current season's cane in autumn, mid-season vegetative bud burst
VERY YOUNG SHOOT: very weak to weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration of apex during rapid growth, late emergence
FRUITING LATERAL: semi-erect attitude, long
CURRENT SEASON`S CANE: medium length, weak bloom, strong intensity of anthocyanin colouration, short to medium internode length, medium length vegetative bud
DORMANT CANE: medium length, purplish brown
SPINES: none
LEAF: medium green upper side, equally three and five leaflets, medium rugosity, relative position of lateral leaflets is free
LEAFLET: straight in cross-section
TERMINAL LEAFLET: long, broad to very broad

Origin & Breeding History: 'MAR 507' originated from a cross between the female parent variety '10-28-14' and the male parent variety 'HD 04-24' conducted in Soings-en-Sologne, France in 2013. The new variety 'MAR 507' was selected from the resulting progeny in 2014 based on the glossiness and firmness of the fruit.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'MAR 507' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2019/2305, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trial was conducted at the Bundessortenamt in Wurzen, Germany from 2021 to 2022.
