SEEDLING: no anthocyanin colouration of hypocotyl

PLANT: medium to tall, no shortened internodes in upper part, medium to long internodes on primary side shoots

STEM: short to medium length, no anthocyanin colouration of nodes, sparse to medium hairiness of nodes

LEAF BLADE: medium to long, medium to broad, medium to dark green on upper side, ovate shape, medium to strong undulation of margin, strong blistering, moderately concave profile in cross-section, medium glossiness on upper side

FLOWERING: begins mid-season
PEDUNCLE: semi-drooping attitude
FLOWER: no anthocyanin colouration of anther

STALK: medium length, medium to thick
CALYX: non enveloping aspect

Origin & Breeding History: 'Alzamora' (breeder's reference 35-BR1405 RZ) originated from a controlled cross conducted between two proprietary lines in the fall of 2018 in De Lier, Netherlands. From the resulting progeny, the hybrid sweet pepper variety 'Alzamora' was selected in August 2019 in Bleiswijk, Netherlands for its plant habit, fruit set, fruit characteristics and crop maintenance.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Alzamora' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number PPS2199, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2022.
