General

Botanical Features

Agricultural Features

Medium to high yielding variety of attractive appearance. Plants are rather slow to emerge with uneven initial growth but they become rapidly vigorous and fill up uniformly the rows. Short dormancy period. Good storability. High specific gravity.

Rochdale Gold-Dorée is very sensitive to the herbicide metribuzin, even in pre-emergence. This product should not be used.

Reaction to Diseases

Highly resistant: PVY
Moderately susceptible: common scab.
Susceptible: early blight, late blight, fusarium dry rot, potato wart, golden nematode (Globodera rostochiensis race 1).
