General

Botanical Features

Agricultural Features

Medium to high yielding variety; very resistant to heat necrosis and hollow heart; very susceptible to blackspot bruises; moderately susceptible to growth cracks. Good storability; short dormancy period; high specific gravity.

Resistant to metribuzin herbicide. Requires a long period after wine dessication to achieve good skin set. When intended for french fries, store at 7 to 8 °C and maintain high humidity; should not be stored beyond late February for processing as french fries. Seed potatoes should be stored at 2 to 3 °C to prevent excessive aging and sprouting.

Reaction to Diseases

Good resistance: verticillium wilt, PVY, PVX.
Moderately resistant: early blight, common scab, leafroll, fusarium dry rot.
Highly susceptible: late blight, Root-knot nematode.
