Botanical Features

Agricultural Features

Medium to high yielding variety, tubers of attractive appearance; slightly susceptible to hollow heart; good storability; long dormancy period; high specific gravity.

REMARK: In New Brunswick, Norking Russet does not process well into frozen french fries as they turn a gray color after frying.

Reaction to Diseases

Resistant: verticillium wilt, common scab.
Susceptible: most viruses, late blight.
Highly susceptible: early blight.
