Botanical Features

Agricultural Features

Very high yielding variety that produce large tubers of attractive appearance. Early tuber set. Good resistance to drought, bruising and growth cracks. Medium dry matter content. Rather long dormancy period.

Very good foliage development although a little slow at the beginning; grows well with an average nitrate fertilization. Tuber spacing should be fairly close because this variety produce large tubers.

Reaction to Diseases

Immune: potato wart.
Good resistance: phoma rot.
Moderately resistant: PVX, PVYn, PVYntn, tuber late blight, common scab.
Moderately susceptible: leafroll, foliar late blight, silver scurf, blackleg and soft rot (Erwinia).
Very susceptible: powdery scab, potato cyst nematodes.
