Foreign government official's declaration for exported Canadian meat products being returned to Canada

Although the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR) came into force on January 15, 2019, certain requirements may apply in 2020 and 2021 based on food commodity, type of activity and business size. For more information, refer to the SFCR timelines.

Section 1

Shipment covered by CFIA/ACIA 1454 space(number) has been refused at [point of landing] or [inland] (deleted not applicable location) byspace for the reasonspace, based on the

space (type of inspection, for example, visual, microbiological) inspection of space (number) units.   

The shipment arrived in container numberspace  with original seal numberspace

Please choose one of the following:

1. The shipment is returning in container number space(number)  with original seal number space(number).

or

2. The original seal number space(number) was broken at the border / at the time of inspection and replaced with a new seal number space(number).

or

3. The original seal number space(number) was broken at the border / at the time of inspection and product in original, intact packaged units space(number) has been loaded, under supervision, into a clean container space(number) and secured by space(foreign competent authority) seal space(number) for return to Canada.

Since arrival the product has always been kept under the official control

of space(foreign competent authority - agriculture/customs)  in space(facility name and address)
