Note: Bee products for human consumption, such as honeycomb (comb honey), flavoured honey, royal jelly, bee propolis, and bee pollen, are also regulated under the Food and Drugs Act, the Food and Drugs Regulations. Additionally, honey for human consumption is regulated under the Safe Food for Canadians Act and Safe Food for Canadians Regulations.

It is the responsibility of the exporter to confirm importing country requirements with their importer in the UAE before exporting any product. The CFIA assumes no liability for the accuracy of this information.

Certificate

Note: Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) certificates have been negotiated with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) sub-jurisdiction of the Emirate of Dubai only. Canada can only export honey and bee products directly to the Emirate of Dubai. Honey and honey products certified by the CFIA can only enter the UAE through the port of Dubai.
