Production controls and inspection requirements
If imported milk ingredients are present in the final product, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the country of origin is required. This certificate must meet the public health conditions for which Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) certification will be given.
The exporter must request a Certificate of Inspection Radioactivity Content from the CFIA prior to receiving export certification.
