Certificate

  1. For salt fish products:

    Certificate of Origin and Hygiene (CFIA/ACIA 5003)

    The following statements/information must be included on the certificate:

    • "This product meets the requirements of the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations"; and,
    • "Product has maximum-percent humidity and minimum 20 percent salt calculated on a dry basis, is free of fungus infection, insects and there is no trace of Acarus infestation".
  2. For all other fish products:

    Certificate of Origin and Hygiene (CFIA/ACIA 5003)
