Origin & Breeding History: 'Advabemap' originated from a cross conducted by the breeder Gerrit de Weert, of De Weert Beheer B.V., in Rossum, Gelderland, Netherlands in September 2008. The cross was made between two unidentified selections of Rubus idaeus. From the resulting progeny, a single plant was selected in 2009 in Rossum, Gelderland based on its fruit characteristics including quality, productivity, and uniformity. Asexual reproduction of 'Advabemap' was first conducted by root cuttings in the spring of 2009.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Advabemap' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2014/3264, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trial was conducted by the Bundessortenamt, in Prüfstelle Wurzen, Germany, from 2016 to 2017.
