You may not bring live birds, bird products and by-products from zones affected by Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza into Canada

Currently an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza is occurring in the United States of America. Restriction zones have been placed to limit spread. Live animals, hatching eggs, and germplasm are not permitted from and may not travel through these restriction zones. Raw or unprocessed animal products and by-products (including table eggs) from susceptible species originating from the restriction zones are prohibited.
