Description:

PLANT: short to medium height, medium width
STEM: medium to thick, light to medium green, pubescence present

LEAF BLADE: short to medium length, broad to very broad, narrow elliptic, upper side medium to dark green, lower side medium green, no variegation, flat in cross-section, pubescence present
PETIOLE: very short, light to medium green, no anthocyanin colouration

PEDICEL: very short to short, medium green
CALYX: ovate lobe, medium length, medium green, no anthocyanin colouration
FLOWER: small to medium diameter
COROLLA: medium lobe length, medium lobe width, purple (RHS 70B)

Origin & Breeding History: 'DLOBTRASTRM' originated from an open pollinated cross conducted by the breeder, Gavriel Danziger, in April 2013, in Mishmar Hashiva, Israel. The cross was made between the female parent variety 'AY-13-558' and pollen from an unknown male parent. A single seedling was selected from the resultant progeny in February 2014 based on its growth habit, plant size, branching characteristics and flower colour. Asexual reproduction by vegetative cuttings of 'DLOBTRASTRM' was first conducted in February 2014, in Mishmar Hashiva, Israel.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'DLOBRASTRM' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2016/0053, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trial was conducted in 2017 by the Naktuinbouw - Variety Center, in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands, using the reference number LBR20. The colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
