Origin & Breeding History: 'KLEDP13155' was bred and developed by the breeder, Martin Glawe, in Stuttgart, Germany. It originated from a hybrid cross conducted in July 2009 between the seedling designated 'DCP2007-0056', as the female parent, and Dianthus variety 'Fire', as the male parent. From the resulting progeny, seedlings were selected in June 2010 for their flower colour. These selected seedlings were evaluated in greenhouse trials in Stuttgart, Germany, from October 2010 to April 2011, and in Latina, Italy, from September 2010 to March 2011, to assess their branching characteristics, time of flowering, flower colour, and flower colour stability. 'KLEDP13155' was selected in April 2012, in Stuttgart, Germany, for commercialization.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'KLEDP13155' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2013/1747, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trial was conducted in 2014 by the Naktuinbouw Variety Centre, in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
