The new variety was propagated by cuttings and grown in a green house trial from August 2007 to February 2009. 'Renaissance Eden' was selected for its plant vigour, growh habit, flower size and tepal colour.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Renaissance Eden' is based on the UPOV report on Technical Examination, application number 2013/0229, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany in 2014. Colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
