Sanitary Requirements for Export Fish Feed from Canada to Vietnam
HA 2458 (Amended January 31, 2011)

  1. The product has been processed in a facility inspected by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
  2. The product may contain fish meal, fish oil and krill meal as the only fish origin ingredients.
  3. The product does not contain animal origin ingredients from the following designated countries: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Rumania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
  4. The product contains fish ingredients that have been processed in a facility dedicated only to fish meal production and which does not receive, store or process any ruminant origin material.
  5. The product contains fish ingredients that have been properly sterilized by submission to steam heat for at least 3 minutes at a temperature not less than 100 °C.
  6. The exported product has been subjected to routine testing which has demonstrated the absence of Salmonella.
