Sanitary Requirements for Export of Beeswax to Nicaragua
HA 2151 (Amended March 1, 2010)

  1. Canada is free from Tropilaelaps clareae and Tropilaelaps koenigerum mites.
  2. The beeswax is treated in a manner which destroys varroa and acarine mites.
  3. All colonies from which the beeswax originates are inspected by the competent authority on an ad hoc basis and found to be free of American and European Foulbrood.
  4. A residue monitoring program is in place for honey produced in Canada.
