Sanitary Requirements for Export of Pig By-Products for Further Processing to New Zealand
HA 2521 (Amended May 6, 2011)

  1. Foot and mouth disease, rinderpest, hog cholera (classical swine fever), African swine fever and swine vesicular disease have not occurred in Canada during the previous twelve (12) months.
  2. The products were derived from animals which passed veterinary ante mortem and post mortem inspection at the time of slaughter.
  3. The products originate from a government licensed slaughtering establishment that slaughters animals for human consumption and operates under the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) supervision.
