  • 1.1 Have been obtained from animals that:
    1. did not show any clinical signs of any disease communicable to humans or animals, and
    2. were not killed to eradicate any epizootic disease;
  • 1.2 Either:
    1. come from animals originating in a country or a part of a country not subject, pursuant to Community legislation, to restrictions as a result of an outbreak of a serious transmissible disease to which the animals of the species concerned are susceptible and have been:

      either - dried;

      or - dry-salted or wet-salted for at least 14 days prior to dispatch;

      or - salted for seven days in sea salt with the addition of 2% of sodium carbonate;

      or - dried for 42 days at a temperature of at least 20 °C;

      or

    2. have been:

      either - dry-salted or wet-salted for at least 14 days prior to dispatch;

      or - salted for seven days in sea salt with the addition of 2% of sodium carbonate;

      or - were salted on space for date (date) before being transported by ship;

  • 1.3 The consignment has not been in contact with other animal products or with live animals presenting a risk or spreading a serious transmissible disease;
