Service Standard for Serial Release

Manufacturers' serial test results will be reviewed and released within 14 days from receipt of a completed application.

The CCVB may require confirmatory testing of serials or batches by a laboratory acceptable to CCVB. If serial or batch samples are tested, the serial release will be within a time period assigned at the time of sample submission.

Performance Target

The target for this standard is 90%.

Performance Results

In 2018-19:

For serials not requiring testing, CCVB processed 100% of the 302 test report documents within the service standard.

For serials requiring testing, CCVB processed 100% of the 7 test report documents within the time period assigned at the time of sample receipt by the laboratory.
