About the consultation

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) launched a 30-day public consultation to seek comments on the proposed maximum nutrient values for small ruminant sheep and goat feeds.

The input gathered through this process will be used by the CFIA to prepare a comprehensive regulatory proposal for publication in the Canada Gazette Part I.

This consultation is one of several priorities identified to modernize the Feeds Regulations.
