Effective September 7, 2018, the licence of Establishment 232, Pinty's Delicious Foods Inc., was reinstated and the company was allowed to resume operations under ongoing inspection by the CFIA.

July 25, 2018, Ottawa: The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has suspended the operating licence of Establishment 232, Pinty's Delicious Foods Inc., effective July 19, 2018. Establishment 232 is a registered meat processing establishment located in Oakville, Ontario.

The licence to operate was suspended because the operator failed to meet regulatory requirements as required by the Meat Inspection Regulations, 1990.

There is no recall associated with this suspension.

The operator will not be able to resume activities at the registered meat processing establishment until the CFIA determines that the required corrective measures have been taken.

Licences and registrations of federally registered establishments or companies can be suspended, cancelled or refused renewal for failure to comply with relevant CFIA Acts and Regulations. The CFIA publishes a list of suspensions and cancellations on its website.
